WHY DO WE COACH?Coaching is one of the greatest callings or professions any individual could ever embark on. There is no doubt that millions of individuals all over the world can look back on their time as an athlete and truly say they are a better person because of their coaches. However, there are many of those out there who do not share that same sentiment toward their experiences with their coaches.
CTI understands the value and impact that coaches have on their athletes and community morale. We are committed as an organization to encouraging and developing coaches who understand the importance of their role not only on their teams but also to society as a whole. CTI along with its many partners want to create a generation of coaches that understand that coaching beyond the court and field is essential to impacting an individual's life. Our coaches understand that a player's body, mind, heart and soul are important. CTI is very aware that the coaching profession is often tainted as more and more news comes out about physical, emotional and sexual abuses. CTI is committed to promoting and building a culture where this does not exist and athletes can thrive. I won’t accept anything less than the best a player’s capable of doing, and he has the right to expect the best that I can do for him and the team!
